bad news??

it was a bad news..
i was told by my mum dat my dad has to change from oral anti diabetics to insulin injection..
its not due to uncontrolled diabetes but totally due to kidhey damage..
long term use of anti diabetic dat damage his kidney..
after 9 years on oral anti diabetics, 14 years on anti hypertensive meds, n now he has to use insulin..
its not about cost dat i'm worried, its about his kidney..
yaa..i know dat diabetis can't be treated, it can only be controlled..
but insulin? kidney damage?
